PhD ongoing
Mean duration of PhD is 4.8 +/-1.1 year, usually depending of the type of contract (ULiège assistant, FNRS, RW,…) and the implication of the PhD student not only in research but also in students supervision. It is worth noting that PhD desertion rate is rather low (5%). It usually corresponds to PhD students who got an attractive opportunity to get a job in industry, pharmacy hospital or clinical biology laboratories.
During the period 2016-2025, CIRM laboratories supervised 100 PhD students.
